Jersy movie is an Indian Hindi language sports drama film starring Shahid Kapoor and Mrunal Thakur and Pankaj Kapur in lead roles. The film is a remake of the Telugu hit movie with the same name starring Nani and Shraddha Srinath in lead roles. Jersey movie got a great response from the audiences and critics. Shahid Kapoor is playing the lead role of a cricketer who left cricket due to some reasons and again joined cricket at the age of 36. The film is directed by Jersey Telugu Film director Gowtam Tinnanuri. The Jersey Hindi remake was announced just after the release of the original film. The film was delayed many times due to covid 19.

It got delayed again due to the Omicron Variant and after that was delayed for one week later to avoid the clash with KGF chapter 2 and Beast.  It was finally released on 22 April 2022 after a gap of two years. The plot follows the story of the finest cricketer who has to leave cricket due to some serious diseases. Playing Cricket can lead this disease to increase. He revives his carrer at the age of 36 to fulfil his son’s dream to buy a Jersey.
