8. Like Crazy
Look, low budget films are working! Like the Crazy schools, some love films in what they should all be: beautiful and fun but also disturbing and emotional. Felicity Jones is very beautiful here, she plays the role of a British American girl, Jacob, while in college. In a short time, he grabs his visa for her and then returns to England to face the consequences. The intimacy explored by the film really sets you apart from others and creates a real experience, as it is based on the author’s / his 8-year relationship. A good option if you are in a situation of the kind of suspicion that draws in your heart.
9. Mr. Peabody & Sherman
Sometimes we can get old restarts without being dark and dry. This is true of this modern era of solid parts of “Peabody’s Improbable History” from the old cartoons of Rocky & Bullwinkle. The story is full of fun but the shenanigans are a little covered up, as you would expect when it comes to the passage of time. The story here, if you are unfamiliar with it, finds an expert on canine Mr Peabody built his own machine “WABAC”. A time travel device that allows him to get a little straight to Sherman and do damage to the universe. And – of course – he does it to please his girlfriend Penny.
